Scottish Open Weekend 2008

The 2008 Scottish Open, Challenge Shield and Challenge Cup contests will take place at the Perth Concert Hall on the weekend of 29th/30th November. After last years successful move to the Perth venue another great weekend of music making is anticipated. The senior band contests take place on the Saturday and on Sunday the future of Scottish banding takes centre stage for the Scottish Youth Brass Band Championships.

Scottish Co-op Secure A New Home

Following their return from a successful concert in Inverness last week-end, members of the Scottish Co-op Band were delighted to learn that, from 1st November, 2008, the band would have a permanent base in Dalmarnock in the east end of the City of Glasgow.
